Cha’ Tullis Murals - Hominy Tourism Highlights Cha' Tullis Art

Hominy has been called the City of Murals because of the work of one man, artist Cha’ Tullis, who hails from Hominy, and has operated the Cha’ Tullis Art Gallery on Main Street in Hominy for the past 40+ years.

The downtown buildings are accented with his beautiful, Native American themed murals. Here is a sampling of some of them. In addition, a mural made of steel sits on the hillside west of Main Street. It is called “New Territory.” A plaque describing it is located behind the historic MKT Train Depot on Main Street and Katy Ave. To see photos of the Cha’ Tullis Gallery, view our Cha’ Tullis Gallery page at Cha’ Tullis Gallery | Hominy Tourism.
